The Wedding Party

The Maid of Honour

Elizabeth McTaggart, the fearless maid of honor and Sarah’s ride-or-die friend. Together in Edmonton, they conquered the wild world of weightlifting and 5K runs. They both share a sense of direction so bad that Google Maps once threw in the towel and said, “Good luck, you’re on your own!” Now, despite living in the mysterious realm of Ontario, they effortlessly crack each other up during hour-long phone calls. All jokes aside, Sarah admires Elizabeth for her loyalty, strength, and sense of humor.

The Bridesmaid

Erin Gargus, Sarah’s bridesmaid and partner in magical mischief. From day one, they have been on a quest for fun – from epic board game battles to daring escape rooms. Despite Erin’s dreams of LARPing glory with Sarah, they settle on occasional hiking and camping, where the closest thing to a dragon encounter is a mosquito. On a serious note, Sarah looks up to Erin as a caring, easygoing, and spontaneous friend.

The Best Man

Mathieu Lavoie met Parick during summer school where they both apparently failed English.  We fail English, that’s unpossible?  After realizing that they weren’t that bad, they became good friends and are often seen geek out to anything, whether they are brewing beer, camping, playing boardgames, discussing random scientific topics, or simply thinking how to make a better advertising system for urinals.  Speaking of Urinals, feel free to ask him about that 2000 flushes school paper that they worked on together.

The Groomsman

George Bruseker and Patrick were two young philosophy and gaming enthusiasts with an early passion for NES and PC games, who found themselves becoming best buddies shortly after Patrick moved St. Albert. Their friendship continued to grow even if George thought Patrick’s name was “corvette”. As they graduated from high school, life took them on separate paths; George eventually moved across the planet to continue his journey, keeping in touch whenever he visits.
